A venture studio, built for the world

A venture studio builds companies rather than funding them from a distance. We come up with the idea, build the product, find the first customers, and only then spin it out as a company with its own brand.

  1. Find the pain

We start with a problem people already pay to live with: lost sales, slow replies, wasted site visits, broken trust. If nobody feels it, we don't build it.

  2. Forge the first version

We turn the idea into a working product and put it in front of real users early.

  3. Cast the company

When a product earns paying customers, it becomes its own brand with its own domain, pricing, support and team.

  4. Temper and scale

Each venture grows into new markets with the full backing of the studio.

Why a venture studio

Most startups fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the idea: they run out of money building the basics, they hire slowly, or they learn payments, hosting and compliance the hard way. A studio solves those problems once and shares the answer with every venture.

Studios are growing quickly around the world, and the evidence suggests their companies reach customers and follow-on funding faster than companies started alone. We wrote about the evidence here.

Designing for the hardest conditions is an advantage. When a product works on a low-cost Android phone, on a weak network, with mobile money and two currencies, it works almost anywhere. We design for the hardest market first and then take it to the rest of the world.
